Severed Leg achievement unlocking too soon? *possible spoilers?*

So I started a new game and when I got to somewhere around day 10 or something like that, I got the achievement Severed Leg which speaks about some dude called Ahab, The problem is I have no idea what that achievement is referring to because I've not met that said character in the game. So I suppose it's a bug and will hopefully be fixed soon. I don't mind achievements but I would rather want them to be unlocked based on my own actions than based on whims of the game.

As a side note, it would have been nice if there had been more achievements. Maybe the sandbox mode update will bring us more of them , pretty please? :)

I am pretty sure it is a reference to Captain Ahab in the book Moby ♥♥♥♥. In the book he loses a leg.

Ah, okay. I didn't know about that. Although I guess I kinda hoped that there would have been an explanation for why I got the achievement. Sorry for confusion.
