Other similar games out there?
Sorry for double post, but, are there any other games like this out there that are worth mentioning?

I enjoyed this game a lot and would like to play something else thats similar.

Im talking about a game that doesnt necessarely have a story like this. Im looking for a police management/simulator kinda game where you manage your own division ....

Excluded from the search are the emergency series and police simulator 1 and 2.

Anything else besides those?

The game reminds me of Firewatch and any of Telltale games (Wolf among us, tales from borderlands, etc) with its comic look and gameplay. However all of them have noting in common with police.

It feels like classic noire movie, and LA Noire by R* Games is the another closest thing to this genre, a story of a honest cop with sad ending. But that's only an action game. There's also an action/simulator game called Enforcer: Police Crime Action, but it also has no management and is designed poorly. Enforcer is basically a patrollman sim.

Its too bad there are no worthwhile games like this ...

While this game is great ... replayability is meh, 911 calls are exactly the same every playthrough ... only thing that is different are the decisions you make along the way but imo thats not enough ...

While the art and graphic style reminded me of "Interstate '76" which was a Mad Max-like open-world...ish car-/vehicle shooter from 1997, the gameplay raised some strong associations to "Hill Street Blues". A Amiga/Dos game which loosely connects to the '80ies cop-drama-tv-show Hill Street Blues. You had to assign officers for patrol duty and detectives for the murder cases. IIRC it was an open-ended game (e.g. you would eventually loose each time when too many crimes and too many dead officers crippled your departement).

But hell ja, if anyone knows about a half-decent cop/detective management game, please let me know!

edit: oh, and feeding the Detective Noir theme, you might want to check out this little pearl on Steam:

You may like 911: First Responders.

Noir Syndrome is okay. It has some pretty good stuff and some things that drag it down.

911: First Responders is too much like Emergency, which was more of a micromanagement heavy RTS, but I stumbled over...

Black Closet is very similar gameplaywise, though the setting is totally different. It's more "school mystery" kind of game but great indie production nonetheless.
