The Dentist & The Snitch
I'm aware that in the early stage of the Dentist investigation, you have to get rid of the Snitch early on or else everything gets handed over to the feds. But I'm a little puzzled, because the deputy gave me the name of the Snitch, and I fired him on the same day, and I still lost. I still got the message from the mayor that I was withholding evidence and he's asking the feds to step in. The next murder investigation, I had no choice other than to share the evidence with the feds.

What did I do wrong? Is there a random chance when you fire the Snitch versus killing them?

Firing the Snitch did not work, legally or not.

Also making the Snitch your snitch or the BBQ also fail.

You have to kill the snitch with the police trap.

The only way you can get rid of them is by paying for a cop trap and killing them, and some weak officers if needed.
