Yes, it is worth it, Grid 2 is a million times better than Grid 1, blows it away.

Must be sarcasm.

That's what I was thinking. I have played GRID and GRID 2 sounds nothing like it after the reviews I read.
OP. Buy it if you feel you want to as you have that choice. There are a certain number of people on these foruns who hate the game with a passion and post the hate in every thread as I think you will see. Be open minded about what you want from the game and make your decions based on that
Some have valid points expressed intelligently and some are stuck in some sort of psyco-hate-loop thing.

I love the game and the DLC as it suits me and thousands of others. If you beleive all this less than subtle dissuasion then then don't buy it. I'm having a great time with the game as are many others.

No it isn't Grid (1), it is Grid 2 and therefore not the same... obviously.

Wow 80 on Metascore - there are some here that swear by that...

The problem with G2 is that it is filled with bugs, and CM are really taking their time patching it. Also the bugs are not just on the PC version, the consoles are also suffering, which is unusual.
If you have the patience of a saint and can wait for the game to be patch so it actually works as it was meant to work, then buy it. But otherwise save your money, as it is just causing so many headaches for thousands of people.
So caveat emptor (buyer beware).
Yeah but it seems like they started pushing hard with the DLC as soon as it was released which seems backwards to me. Why would I give you sixty(50 pc before tax) dollars for a purposely incomplete game?

Can you conceive of a company which has to work to deadlines and budgets because they need to complete their obligations for fear of possible fines for failing to deliver on time.

There's far more to all this than what you see as backwards.

As a software developer and programmer, there's nothing I see backwards. Other than purposely making your games incomplete so you can sell DLC which is all the rage these days, haven't you heard?

He'll never understand your point. He's making arguments that would make Codemasters blush!

Yes I have seen the DLC sales methods, you are still assuming no matter how you coat it. Answer how you KNOW and I'll perhaps be able to agree with you. Software developer, huh... so what?

Tig this isn't just CM we are talking about here it's all or most companies... so get off your silly horse.

the game will crash when you reach 50-65% and then it just gives you "save file corrupted'' and you'll have to start all over again

All racing games are full of 'rammers' in MP. Didn't you know this before you bought it for MP?

I'm not a child, I'm a (very mature) adult. As for real race fans, well who knows what that means. It's a PC racing title, the same as all PC racing titles are games.
