Voice Chat on/off option PLEASE !!!

Why is there no VoiceChat Option to turn it on or of in Generell ? i only can make in the Party..but thats no good option because sometimes im instant in game so cant switch in on or of...when i use TS3 i hear my Friends in double.... Codemasters plz fix or Patch it !!

You can mute you friends ingame by clicking on them there should come up and option.
but you can also mute everyone when you are in a race lobby in the left cornor.
where it says "VOICE EVERYONE" click on that and set it to "VOICE NONE"

The problem is that you have to do it every time you join a new lobby. You can't simply turn it off for the entire game.

The microphone options in the MP border close to being retarded. You cant mute yourself, you have to turn your mic off. You cant mute people in between races (so during events), so if you join late or some ♥♥♥♥ joins the lobby and makes noise, you dont have a choice but to listen.

i found out thats a Steam problem , i use a workaround because i dont use Steam Voice Chat. You only have to switch, in Windows,to another "standard" input device for communication so steam will use it also.,.. so voice chat is not working in steam :)

Voice NONE mutes your mic. Try it and see. The icon still blinks making one think that their mic is recording, but it isn't.

yep but see above.. the problem is that sometimes you CAN`t switch voice everyone or friends or off...

Just store the decision the user made in the lobby for future events, shouldn't be that hard.
Don't want to hear people chew when I join a game.
