Hi there,

For quite some time have been building a library of useful resources for various sim racing games. As we all know its a pain to find a central place for game modifications.

We are trying to give (sim) racers finally a new home to easily share their favorite legal modifications with the rest of the community and benefit from a large audience (which modder doesn't want his/her work to be seen by tens of thousands of people?).

Resources (or mods if you wish) can be up- and downloaded directly from our resource manager (up to 100mb per file) or downloaded from an external URL (when larger than 100mb per file). Discussion threads are automatically created for each resource in designated forums for real time support together with a nifty thread prefix for quick filtering through all the content.

As the Resource Manager[www.racedepartment.com] is fully integrated into our forum software users can benefit from the already impressive social features our forums offer (likes, ranking, ratings, news feeds, alerts, abuse reports, in-depth search and detailed statistics).

Members can share their game modifications such as for example skins, cameras, mods, utilities and guides as compressed files. We currently support the following extensions to be uploaded to the RM:
.zip
.rar
.7zip
.torrent
When you wish to host very large files (over 100MB) or files for legacy titles we kindly ask you to upload your work first to one of the following trusted file sharing networks Mega, Mediafire or Dropbox and include the URL in your resource.

Note about content:
At RaceDepartment we have a strict policy when it comes to content. We do not allow any form of piracy or content that contains original files from other games unless you have written and explicit permission to do so. “I’ve heard on the interwebs this is allowed” is not enough.
We encourage free scratch build content and strongly believe in the creativity of the modding community and we will do whatever is in our power to support those teams and individuals that want to bring the modding community back on the right track!
