Split Screen on PC ?

Long story short, i use a Projecter for playing racing games in my room, it displays 120" and i would like to be able to split that and race againsts friends when they come over. Will the PC port have the option to play split screen ? i have multiple Xbox controllers for my pc but most racing games dont offer split screen for PC and i was just wanting to get some clarification on this subject.

That's correct, split screen is on PC :)

I've noticed on the store page, there's no mention of 'local co-op', like there was for Sonic Racing Transformed.
It just says "multiplayer" which usually just stands for online multi.
But if a dev's confirmed it, I guess that's good enough for me.

I too have noticed that and would be good to get some further clarification on this? Local co-op would be the only reason i buy this game. Would local co-op races also feature AI or just the 2 players?

Thanks to Big Picture mode from now on all new games on PC will have splitscreen as more and more people are connecting them to tv and use them as consoles. THANKS YOU VALVE!!

Why vers friends online if they live in the same house as you, there still needs to be a local option for the people that don't want nor need to have 2 PC's specifically for gaming. why have 2 gaming PC's or consoles if the devs can simply just offer split screen ? my 120" projecter still gives a 60" screen for each player.
