You didnt get the F430 to work ?
?
The setup I'm using is the same one listed on solidystated's website here:
http://solidlystated.com/software/logitech-g27-and-race-driver-grid-2/
For the actual executable you want to choose for GRID 2:
%driveletter%:\Steam\steamapps\common\grid 2\grid2.exe
Make sure it is that executable or your wheel wont work properly and default to your global profile.
I play with 900 degrees of rotation, in terms of my profiler:
Global settings:
Overall effects 115%
Spring effect 50%
Damper effect 150%
Enable centering spring 50%
Rotation 900 Degrees
Game specific
Rotation 900 Degrees
Steering Wheel
Sensitivity 100%
Deadzone 0%
Range 100%
Accelerator
Sensitivity 0%
Deadzone 5%
Range 100%
Brake
Sensitivity 100%
Deadzone 5%
Range 100%
Game settings
FFB 50/100/100 or something like that
Advanced settings
I switch between Sequential Manual and Manual H + Clutch
Steering Deadzone 0%
Steering Saturation 100%
Steering Linear 0 or 2 I haven't noticed any difference, does anyone know what this does?
Throttle Deadzone 20%
Throttle Saturation 100%
Brake Deadzone 20%
Brake Saturation 100%
With these settings I don't have much difficulty driving for Global challenges or Single player but this is ultimately up to your play style.

Linearity: Positive values mean that the steering is less sensitive in the centre region.
That means you can more easily drive in a straight line with a wheel with positive Linearity values. Or, that you will find straight line driving less twitchy. This is dependent on the number of degrees your wheel is set to. The fewer degrees you use the more twitchy straight line driving is and the more positive you will need to set the Linearity.
I use a G27 @ 320 degrees, 0% deadzone and 2 Linearity. It is just a little sensitive at center but very predictable.
Whoa 900 degrees, this game needs fast counter steering, try 180 or less.
Leave in game settings at CSW Default
Wheel settings:
SEN 540
FF 100
SHO 100
ABS 085
LIN OFF
DEA OFF
DRI OFF
FOR 080
SPR 100
DPR 100
Gives you an actual feeling you drive. FFB in this game is very well implemated. One of the best so far.
The Forced Drifts in this game are very unfortunate. Without it it would have been a much better drivers game. But some are drooling about drifts...
Still enjoy the driving.;)
I do recall there being a steering saturation formula from F1 2012 or something (Source http://www.racedepartment.com/forum/threads/logitech-g27-settings-f1-2012-the-game.56364/page-3)
Saturation formula goes like this 100% - [( DD * 100) / WD ] = Saturation settings where DD is Desired degrees of rotation and WD set degrees of rotation in profiler.
After that do 100 - the value and you get the amount of saturation to set in the game.
For me I don't even use this but say at 540 degrees I'd be using 60% saturation in the game and maybe 2 linearity, I've tested this before and it works ok but the car kind of wobbles thats why I prefer to stay at 100% saturation and 0 linearity.
