so yeah lets hope thats the case
Like, instead of a Veyron costing a million bucks it will instead cost 850k, with the aforementioned 15% discount from the Headstart Pack.
Sure, I may be wrong, but I doubt Codemasters would pull that off on a fully priced title... Buying in-game cars for real money (especially going for a model like "the faster the car, the pricier it gets") is something for F2P-games like ACR or NFS World.
I hope I'm wrong but there is a constant pucker that we're about to see their version of NFSWorld. The game will only let you play a portion till we pull out the wallet.
I would go with the real money cuz there isnt official response only regards to copkit view
and if its in game cash them would b billions of dlc with car & tracks
A CM developer isn't an official response now? :P
But you're almost certainly right on the DLC front, look how many there are already!
They might have so many things that you can earn, but all the best stuff will come later, when they "update the game" because "statistics show you want microtransactions for the rest of the game", then the majority of the game will be pay only.
They have ditched true racing games to go the arcade route (as shown with dirt showdown), and will go the rest of the way to being one of the true VILE companies out there by releasing a game so light on content you will have no choice but to dip into your wallet again if you want the rest.
What proof do we have otherwise? They said so? Wow, the word of a developer is worth so much these days, isn't it? They couldn't possibly lie could they.... Oh wait, only 5% want cockpit view? LIE.
So we have already worked out they are liars, so their word is worth nothing.
What other proof do we have?
None.
So what evidence is there that points to this being REAL money?
Well, the fact that there is already day one DLC, that you can only get if enough people hand over their money without even seeing any proper gameplay, and without cockpit view, and without any support for trackir.
They are as bad as EA games now. And I loved this developer up to this point.
I even gave them the benefit of the doubt with all the stupid wheelspin/jump/break the blocks races in dirt 3.
Then came dirt showdown. Awful game, with terrible handling, NO COCKPIT VIEW, stupid races and destruction derby instead of rallying, and about as much to do with colin mcrae as my dog has.
And now this abortion of a game...
CM, you have lost a LOT of PC customers, and I dare say a good amount of console customers, thanks to this.
But hey, you know best, don't you?
100% wrong :)
Again, no micro-transactions in GRID 2.
This currency system is included in online and it's NOT about micro-transactions.
Did you ever play the first game? It had the same system but in singleplayer. It was never about real money and it never will.
As for other tracks and other cars, Its called add-on/dlc for a reason. they are never going to charge you car by car, If that's what some of you are getting at. Its just going to be like buying new maps on call of duty, more just worth it and not terribly lay'd out to take your money.
but We have seen a great amount of gameplay videos on youtube, just go look.
its almost like some of you guys have not looked into the game at all before posting.
