I Can Not Find Save Files

Hello,

I cant find my grid 2 save files. I looked internet and writes there "C:Drive/ProgramData/Steam/RLD/44350" but i havent a this folder. Is it be elsewhere?

Most games have different save file locations. In the case of Grid 2 the save files are located under C:/ Users / Your User Name / My Documents / Codemasters / Grid 2 / Savegame

I looked there but its not there.

I have "C:/ Users / Your User Name / My Documents / My Games / Grid2" folder, but save files not there. Just "hardwaresettings" in the folder.

Really i dont understand this.

I'm assuming that your save is currently on the Steam Cloud and for some reason its not being written to your hard drive. If you have a profile already saved in the game and it's not showing up in the folder then you could try going to driver statistics in the game options and select save then quit out of the game or just alt+tab out and check that location on the hard drive to see if it created a save file. If not you could try creating a new proile (don't overwrtie or delete your current profile) and doing a short race or changing paint or wheels and then saving and exiting. The save folder should have now been created in that location on the hard drive. If both of your profiles are there then you're done however you may need to go into the game to your original profile and race a race or change some paint or wheels and save and quit so that it forces the game to write the save to the hard drive and hopefully it will create that save file in the folder. If none of this works i'm not sure what to say.

On my win7 x64 it's here:

F:\ STEAMFOLDER \ userdata \ some_accountID_in_numbers:12345 \ 44350\ remote

44350 is the appid of my grid2 install, if you select properties of the grid2 shortcut on your desktop you see the path is: steam://rungameid/44350

I think you should disable Steam Cloud synchronization for GRID 2 to let the game create savegames in: C:/ProgramData/Steam/YourProfileName/44350

edit: anezz is right, savegames are in STEAMFOLDER \ userdata \ some_accountID_in_numbers:12345 \ 44350\ remote

or in "local" if you disabled Steam Cloud I assume.

44350 is the game ID if you dont konw.
