Oh, and I also have FUEL, but haven't really checked it out yet.

'Any other notable mentions for racing games available on Steam? '
F1 2010 - for some solid play (or 2011, 2012 if you wish a casual easy experience) ; My PC doesn't allow me to run 2013 :D
Moto GP13 - tried it a bit (2 hours), seemed rather solid and potentialy more fun than GRID2 - with that being said, the 40E price is a bit too much, i'd give it a shot on a -60 or -75% sale.
GT Legends - pretty old but has tons of cars and content and the gameplay is fairly ok
Flatout 1 and 2 - i'd easily rate these over DIRT series at any hour, as any of these is more of a rally game than any of the DIRT series ... and it's not a rally game to begin with.
Dyad - tbh i haven't tested this game at all, but it has the best reviews out of any racing game from steam
And of course : Trackmania, Trackmania Nations Forever is actually free on steam : http://store.steampowered.com/app/11020/
