T300RS Support

I recently purchased a T300RS and would like to know if anyone is experiencing what's happening to me. The device works fine on my computer (in control panel it shows up fine as I have installed the proper drivers for it).

When I boot my computer the wheel does it's automatic calibration (spins itself around both ways), but then when I get to the menu in GRID 2, it's as is the down button is held and it just automatically flips through the menu options.

If I unplug the wheel it stops. I then go to options, controllers, plug it in, select "preset" and it appears in the list (keyboard, t300rs). I select that, but then I always have to reconfigure my buttons. I would really like to be able to simply keep the wheel plugged in and have the game recognize it on launch, without having to reconfigure it every time.

That wheel is not officially supported, but I managed to get it working.
Download this[users.telenet.be] and unpack it in your Grid 2 installation folder (..\Steam\SteamApps\common\grid 2)

It will overwrite the T500 profile (which is a supported wheel) to detect the Thrustmaster T300 RS wheel.

If you patch things correctly, a preset named "Thrustmaster T500 RS" should appear.

I used Logitech G27 and so far so good :)

Your download worked for me with my Thrustmaster T300rs and F1 Ferrari add-on wheel. the setup recognized the T500 in game steering config and the pre-sets matched my steering buttons exactly. Furthermore my settings were saved so that each game startup I no longer had to input the settings all over again. I searched for this fix for weeeks and finally stumbled across your genius work..thanks again.
