Grip vs Drift
I have been playing the standard campaign and I only ever get stuck using drift cars. I suck at drifting and every time I lose traction I end up spinning out. In my like 30 races in this game it has never given me the option to use a grip car in a single race. Do I need to do something to decide what my options of cars are each race or am I locked into a single type every race?

Sadly this is a drift heavy game. Drifting is really simple once you get the basics down
press the hand break button and then go in the direction you want while accelerating or slowing down as needed and then when the corner is ending turn into the other direction. Works for me everytime

So theres no way to avoid learning drifting then in this game? Damn that sucks.

I went from Burnout: Paradise City and being unstoppable to this and literally being forced to go to the lowest difficulty and still use all my doovers every race. I guess I didnt really get any tutorial on drifting I thought you just turned until the back lost traction and turned straight when you wanted to stop.

Is there a middle ground between burnout and grid 2 you would suggest to help me make the difficulty transition?

I learned how to drift in grid 1 then went to burnout and then bought this

Burnout is rediculously easier to drift than this game.
