GRID 2

Help! I think I lost my save file.
489 hours played and now when I fire up it says "data load failed" when trying to log in.

I believe I know what caused this, bare with me as I am a bit of a computer noob, but my harddrive is partioned into 3 and my C had been full and giving warnings. So I was able to allocate a free 40gb from one of my others to it. Game has not worked since.

Prior to that, I was playing GRID2 and got a message that the game could not autosave due to C drive being full. Please help!

the problem likely is that your local save is not identical to cloud save.
find your steam folder, go to Steam\userdata\********\44350\remote\
backup somewhere and delete all savegame files from that folder, steam should download them from the cloud (if you have steam cloud enabled in steam settings(it is by default))
also its possible to disable cloud saves in the first place, and not get conflict when local does not match to cloud file, but then you will have saves only on your PC wihtout cloud backup and its easy to lost them all, but you can use someone elses(or download somewhere) savefiles. not sure.
also make sure you dont have steam system folders duplicates somewhere on same drive
