GRID 2

Will GRID 2 SHUTDOWN??!!
Will this amazing game "GRID 2" shutdown like the first GRID and many other "Codemasters" games?!
Why do you do that??!!
You keep doing that, you keep losing your popularity. I might've bought few games from you, but I'm never gonna buy any more games from you. That's not because of the quality of your games, they are actually beyond amazing, but you keep giving them away, shutting them down, removing them from most of the stores, and totally forget about them and erase them from history.
I know I said your games are beyond amazing, but there are much better games. So if you want your players/customers to believe in you and your games, then you must treat your games like golden trophies. Treat your games like trash and you will see others treat them the same way.

Why there is still nfs shift selling on steam (2009 game), its got times more licensed tracks, cars, sponsors. I don't think ea still bothered with this game.

Nop! you are wrong Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles , Terminator Salvation 2009, DeadPool, Wolverine , all this games was shutdown because the recent sells are not enought to keep names rights , and all this games don't have any sequence to redirect the public.

Its the holders of the brand names that cause them to take down the games. They make the deals like that for a game. After the agreed date they no longer allowed to keep using this car name and that stadium name etc. so its easier to just take down the game than strip away all that branding.

That is just isn't fair at all. Do you see in other games like Mafia series or GTA series, there are all types of cars and etc. Do you see them shutdown. So I think the brand names and all of that is just a lie, because Codemasters didn't remove any of the F1 series and never mentioned anything about Car Brands license agreement thing. Also they are not only removing Racing games. Many of their classic/old games have been removed, games that are similar to Dark Lord.

Difference between this and gta/mafia.
This: licensed, real cars, real names, real circuits
Gta/mafia: no real cars, no real circuits, all names are fake.
P.s. yes they did removed f1 games. I am sure of that. If that wasn't the case then i could buy F1 2005 or F1 2007.

Yeah, right.
Then I will never ever buy any racing game in my whole life, like when I did with DiRT Rally and GRID Autosport.

Just because the game gets taken down from the store, doesn't mean you lose access to it. Most online functions will probably be closes as well, but can easily be reverted with external server hosting.
This is some of the dumbest complaint I've seen on Steam.

It´s a pity that a great game like GRID2 is lost and doesn´t remain available for new users. I want think that those who already have it will never lose it. In my opinion it is one of the best racing games. It is a hybrid that combines tight races, interesting story mode, a great customization of cars in paint, vinil and rings. Amazing graphics (Thanks TOCA Racing! ) For me is perfect and I play it happily.

All online functions are fully supported (even today) through steam servers, if it were up to codies the servers would have been taken down a year after release like grid 1.

Yeah man, I miss the first GRID game. I bought it and played just once, then they made it free and they removed few days after.

Oh, say that to the first GRID players (including me). The first GRID is totally gone, it won't work at all (offline and online).

Offline works to me no problem. Fault must be at your pc.
