Screen tearing (lack of Vsync)
I was considering the purchase of this VN, so I decided to give the trial version a go.
Unfortunately, i noticed a lack of Vsync, which brings out noticeable screen tearing... I tried forcing it through drivers and d3doverrider to no avail.
Looked up some videos on YouTube, some are perfectly fine, others have the same problem that I have.

Is there anything I can do about it?

What's your specs? I'm using integrated Intel card HD4000. I've checked the trial too and came across the same thing with VSync, wonder if full version would be the same.

I have the same issue, lots of screen tearing. Forced vsync in drivers, and tried D3DOverrider, neither fixed it. Happens in both the trial and full version. I went as far as trying the japanese version of the trial and even that had vsync off. I have a feeling it's related to drivers or specific GPUs.

I couldn't find a solution so I've been playing it with the screen tearing, sucks having to deal with it though. For the record I'm on Windows 7, and use a GTX 780 + i5-4570

Seems like it's not the GPU or drivers-related issue, as you claim that full version and even Japanese version is the same too, maybe it's engine at fault? But that needs more info from the others, though. Like AMD users.

Yeah I thought it might be the engine, but it doesn't make sense that the OP said he found youtube videos that didn't have the issue. It's strange

Maybe videos don't catch it while recording? I.e. constant FPS or something. Anyway, devs need to answer this.

Hi there!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We forwarded this information to our Tokyo Babel team, and will issue a patch once it's been resolved.

Yeah, V-Sync is a big issue, since there's a lot of movement in this VN and it is pretty noticeable.

By the way, the VN is quite fun so far! Very high-quality stuff.

any word yet on it? It's nticable still but I can ignore it for the story. Still curious if it can be fixed or if it's just something from the engine running on newer comps.

sorry for upping this, but the constant v-sync issue is indeed very annoying. No VN should ever be released in such a state. Is there's seriously no fix for that? I even get the "voice" button from the side-menu getting bigger and small again with each click.
