Need help with Logitech Driving Force GT?
With the Logitech Driving Force GT, try my settings for Dirt3. They work well IMHO.

In Windows 'game controllers' control panel or Logitech Profiler: first reset to default. Then set the 'overall effects strength' to 101% (edit, I've recently turned this up to 107%, for me it feels stiffer at center. Just make sure its >100%), set 'centering spring strength' to 0%, set 'degrees of rotation' to 360 degrees, and uncheck 'allow game to adjust settings'.

In Dirt 3: go to options>controls>advanced wheel settings, then make sure saturations are at 100% and deadzones and linearity are at 0. For most DFGT's, you're gonna want to set the brake deadzone to 5% because sometimes the pedal drags (look at your brake lights in 3rd person view to see if yours does it too).
Then go to options>feedback and vibration, and set as follows from top to bottom
Vibration strength: 20
Wheel strength: 60
Wheel weight: 30

Do all this and the DFGT should feel pretty darn good with minimal FFB deadzone and good delivery of all feedback effects, without overloading the wheel motor (causing clipping).

I turned up the force feedback settings, i like a strong response. I feel more in control that way.

I never got this silly game to work well with my GT Driving Force. I just use a controller.

In windows, open the start menu and type usb game in the search and open the usb game controller panel. In this window, do you see the DFGT?

And the wheel isn't on the list of controller profiles in Dirt3? I guess you can always create a custom profile in game.

Thanks, I was a little bit too quick uninstalling the CD-copy of Dirt 3. So I forgot to make a screenshot of my steering wheel settings for the Dirt 3 Complete Edition I now got from Steam.

The above mentioned settings feel a little bit too light for my taste.

I do remember checking out several settings for the F1 2012 game to get a good setup for the DFGT, and that really helped my to tune my own preferred settings for that game. So I would be very thankfull if you guys could share your DFGT settings and the experience with these settings in Dirt 3.
