Is there a mod to unlock the freeroam zone?

I really cannot be bothered to do the hundreds of brain killing races just to unlock the test zone place, batter sea i think its called? Is there a file i can mod or something to just unlock it?

Completed the game on PS3 really dont feel like doing it all again just to mess about in the test zone.
