The game's developers are based in Russia or Ukraine. Due to financial and/or governmental restrictions, they had to cease operation. They may or may not restore it when the hostilities in eastern Europe cease. We can only hope.

As you probably know, someone decided to invade another country, This didn't go well, and sanctions were imposed. So it is impossible for soviet based businesses to process international payments.

They could give community access to source files of the game to open licence. Maybe some someone could run it on server. Whitout going into addones, running old such like this isnt problematic. You just need open server and pay for it.

too bad the world didn't decide to do the same to the USA and its corporations when it choose to invade other countries using lies of WMD's and assisting in black flag coops. then again... its usually only the USA that forces its laws and rules on most of the world with the threat of sanctions\total destruction.

now every country involved has nukes so, its a war of wealth attrition. one the US will lose against China but ... im sure WW3 will be a great way to end the world. Lets hope you all have been practising up on your survival skills for after the nukes start to rain.
