stuck at 1-4 :(

I got stuck at this level, I think it was 1-4 where there is a crash scene. There is a non functioning teleporter in one side of the room (looks like it is missing parts) and the other side has a stone corridor ending at a landslide. So I got stuck here, couldnt figure it out, and just gave up and quit.
There was a thing that blew up but I guess I did something wrong? How does one get past this area?
I want to know what Im doing before getting stuck there again. Thanks in advance!

If you manage to blow up the coil then you need to shoot the rocks blocking the way until they crumble
