27-05-26 the biggest turn off for this game is the data collection/analysis option being mandatory, it does not tell you WHICH data is being collected and while i am not educated on this topic enough, i am very certain this is not conforming EU consumer laws or general data protection regulation (gdpr)

updating my review from complaining about missing details regarding data collection on release 1.00.00 to more recent events.


31-05-26 for the last 2-3 days a large wave of new "players" amassed, allegedly bots farming items. as a result the steam servers have been struggling a lot. this resulted in having items/chests deleted, opening chests taking a really long time and also the cube mechanic possibly removing items without benefit.

for a while this just stayed as is, but they came up with a "fix", which was disabling almost all of the cube's functionality.
laggy chests still were an issue for a while. eventually that calmed down and opening chests went back to normal, you just could not really do a lot with your items and had to fill your stash page(s).

they later pushed an update to the cube working again which only lasted a few hours before realising that it worsened the stability, so quickly reverted it.

now new news are that the entire chest drop rate has declined. this is allegedly on steam's end again, they are effectively rate-limiting the game's drops/item generation because they say its too many. this is where we are at right now.
lower chest drops/almost no item generation, almost no cube functionality, you are just completely stalled from progressing.

pls fix

03-06-26 HAHAHA THEY HAVE FURTHER INCREASED THE COOLDOWN BETWEEN CHESTS THIS GAME IS SO COOKED (*referring to version 1.00.09)

Also before that, they had to decrease the amount of items generating to be available on steam, so now about half of your inventory will be useless (there are type A and B variants)
and for some odd reason they thought it would be cool to also make them unusable in-game in the sense of you cannot merge them into higher tier anymore, only sell for gold. (*referring to version 1.00.08)

Questionable Data Collection and Analytics for a rather simple game like this. I am also talking about the in-game logs, crash reports generated and the automatically created logs through gameplay. It's fine to add this as an optional toggle, but I do not agree to it to be forced.

Clause 67 combined with 68 within the Terms of Service is misleading / not transparent enough and conflicts within the EU / GDPR regulations. It cites the 'Electronic Commerce Act'. While this seems to work for the developers, as they are in South Korea, this is not conform with the EU GDPR regulations / laws to be cited as such, as this Act is not existent in the EU under GDPR regulations.
Therefore, it is not fully certain by which law (EU, Korea etc.) the data and what data is truly collected / kept.

I understand that the developers wish to protect their product from fraud, especially because you can use the Marketplace and might lose real money to cheaters, hacker and whatnot which I also support, but there is still a limit to how much data somebody should be allowed / able to collect about you as a person.

That's just my take on this, you guys enjoy yourselves if you are fine with these terms.

Game was fine and a fun idler but devs are actively ruining it. Instead of fighting chinese bot farms and marketplace cheaters they punish their most engaged players and paying customers by silently nerfing the drop rates and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up progression. You had a hidden gem here but somehow managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

If you're thinking of buying the supporter pack for the pets and their bonuses don't bother, with a chest drop rate of nearly 0%, they won't make a difference anyway lol.
