Money cheat

I just started playing this game and was wondering if there was a way to add denarii to my save game. Its my 3rd playthrough and I've got a fighter who is 3-0 and I havent killed yet, yet my money is dwindling.

Not sure. I have one of each type of staff, havent made any improvements yet.

You need to fight every day even if it's just against wild animals.

You should execute your scout if you've found some decent gladiators already.

Always make side bets on your fighter. Or the enemy fighter if you don't mind throwing away one of your gladiators (if you can win enough money from the bet to cover his expenses).

How many gladiators do you start with? I was only using one and couldnt fight all the time because the gladiator was hurt or tired.

I used 3 or 4 to start. I never executed or fired my scout, but I also didn't use any doctors or blacksmiths until later on when I was more established. You don't need them early on - they are a waste of money until later on. The amount you are paying those two could go directly into 2 more gladiators. Your expenses wouldn't be significantly different, but you'd be able to fight and earn money significantly more frequently.
