In fact, avoid every Chinese gaming company, because they are all about crap quality games that push PvP hardcore, while charging insane prices for items you need to make another item you need to finally make the real item you want. R2 (Reality Squared), Tencent, PWE, Nexon, all of them are scam artists. King is horrible too, but they aren't Chinese, they're Swedish (and a subsidiary of Blizzard-Activision!)
It's ashame because at it's launch, Neverwinter was an amazing game. Very well balanced, incredible pvp with minimal pay to win elements, all of which any very hardcore player could earn for free.. But yea didnt take long for PWE to corrupt it and make it ULTRA pay to win and insanely unbalanced if you cared to pvp at all.
We as consumers just need to boycott horrible companies like this and support awesome ones who make amazingly successful f2p games without making them pay to win (EG: Valve).
So yea valve.. make an mmo.
While I won't argue that PWE isn't greedy, they do deserve some credit for keeping games alive. Star Trek (and Champions, and probably some of their others) just plain wouldn't exist without PWE taking it over. Star Trek was dead broke and shutting down before PWE took it over and remonetized it. So yeah their method is probably preferable to the game not being available at all.
