Looking for a new MMO

So I played this way back in 2017 when the game was massively popular but I stopped as other games took me away and I am looking to get back into it. I have 100 hours on it, last played 2017 so I don't know if the game is alive or dead. What servers are dead. If my character will still be there.

If anyone can tell me, it would be very much appreciated.

I just finally managed to get it to work after so long. You'll be forced to download Valofe's own launcher and implement Google OTP (auth app like Steam has). If you're like me and have Avast, then it'll block any network communication and so the game won't go past authentification on the login menu.

I just deactivate it temporarily. I just got in and...I can't see anyone. Usually there's a few people hanging out in the Hub city, but I couldn't find anyone. It's depressing.

That's sad to hear that you can't find anyone. I remember having to fight over the mounts and spots in dungeons back in it's glory days. I suppose that's what I get for abandoning it for about 6 years.

I'll hands down temporarily disable it to give it a go and see what it is like. Maybe I'll bump into someone haha

Will your character still be there? Possibly not. There was some period where we had to migrate our accounts to Valofe and not everyone went though smoothly. I probably would've kept playing if my profile data didn't get lost mid migration. I lost 1.7k hours on this process. I tried to play the game again but it just didn't feel the same.

I was just about to do some searching but you answered my question. I last played in 2016 and remember there some migration after this period. Think i received emails about logging in but never bothered as i had uninstalled.
