Riders of Icarus

Which animals are good?
For pets anyways. For these classes (as they are the ones that I'm using)

-Berserker
-Priest
-Assassin

I have a wolf on my berserker but I feel that that isn't a good pet. I mainly got the wolf for a pet because of her name. But I'm going to change it because that wolf isn't very good.

I have a bear pet. They have an attack that knocks down enemies. That's useful.

Any common bear or should I tame an elite bear? Forgot that one bear's name.

I would use any attack buff pet for the physical damage classes. I suggest using Taslan for priest/Mage as she's easy to tame and good for mana and Matk.

On my assassin I use the one with best dps because that's what assssin is made for. Onslaught for assassin. If you can't get Taslan, then you can get any healing pet.

You also want to check their skills and attack.

As for berserker, I don't know. I'll edit this when I ask my boyfriend.

Natan-- Foothills Highlands
Trutan-- ??? Highlands. Forget where. You can check his bestiary. Tame him by jumping off the small cliff straight onto his back.
Bakkhus-- Hakain's Crossng. You get his mark from the daily mission boards spread throughout the city.

use a pet with a PA aura; Ruby Bloodwyrm, any of the Squwakers, etc.

pet dps seems to be piss-poor.

any pet that adds damage to physical or magic depending on class. Always use them in passive so you don't waste their energy attacking cause it's better to have the passives last longer without spamming energy pots to keep them up.

You need to be X altitude to be able to tame him, thats what the cliff is for. I'm guessing you flew above him.

I only play Priest, but the best choice would be the Taslan spider. The tome drops from the dark mages in the graveyard (not the elite one).
It gives Passive Cooldown + Magic attack.
It has a DoT skill and a mana boost ability

Your other choice is Leorid to utilise all the stuns, but it gives a useless attack speed buff. However it will make a good protection pet, for when you draw aggro from healing, it can stop some mobs with cc.

I don't know about the other classes. But I disagree with all of the priest ones. they have no synergy with priest.

Yeah, I flew above him. I got sick and tired of waiting for him to stand under the cliff so I flew instead.

So with my priest I should tame either Taslan or Leorid?

I agree the choices for Priest listed are meh except for Taslan as a pet. I went with Taslan for my pet for passive cooldown reduction and magic attack and I use Leorid as my land mount atm.
