Can't get past launcher [SOLVED]

I've downloaded the game, and I'm not getting an error, but the launcher simply won't load me to the starting screen. It just says " Please wait... Loading Riders of Icarus! If the game is not loading, click here!" And even when I do, nothing happens, and nothing happens when I wait either. Is there any solution? Please help!


Edit: All I had to do was redownload the game from their website and start it up with that launcher :D

I am having the same issue. It says I'm in game on steam and that the game is starting up, then closes the launcher and nothing happens.

Running Windows 10 (64 bit), Intel Core i5 processor, AMD Radeon R9 200 graphics card.

It crashes everytime, same thing. Windows 10 64 bit, I7 4790k, GTX 970

So far for me it only opens the launcher, stays on the "please wait...loading" screen seemingly infinitely, then the launcher just disappears completely. Man I waited 2 weeks to play the free version and no it isnt even working.

1-please update windows
2- steam game play and closed first windows and retry start game 1-2-3-4 testing. Game server connections problem..

I FIXED MINE

Here's what I did:
Properties>Local Files>Browse Local Files
Go to Bin32>nxstream.exe

It worked for me, I hope it works for you

I'm looking and...I don't even have a file marked nxstream.exe??? Wtf? (There's only nxstream but not nxstream.exe and even when I start it it just brings up the launcher that still doesn't work)

I looked in that one too :( just nxsteam and nxsteamres.dIII

In Bin64 I'm trying to open nxsteam but it comes up with an error: "nxsteam.exe - System Error
The program can't start because steam_api.dII is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Defuq am I missing??

this worked for me guys.

Go to icarus website and download nexon launcher.
Login, and start downloading game from there.
Pause the download and close the launcher.
Paste C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Riders of Icarus
Into C:\Nexon\Library\icarus\appdata
Rename C:\Nexon\Library\icarus\patchdata into something else

Start Nexon launcher, head to icarus and press Update.
After verifying the launcher would let me press Play, and game starter normally

same problem here and using the nexon launcher doesnt work either it just closes after login just like trying to run through steam
