Fastest/best horse in the game?

I just got the skin from the event and want to use a horse now. Since the skin takes over, only the stats matter.

What's the best (which probably just means, fastest) horse in the game? I'm guessing Pluto? It had a 7.00 in speed I think. Any other notable horses, maybe with different skills?

Speed doesn't matter on ground really.. it's really about the most energy which would be black wind from cm.

Speed doesn't matter? Then why does stamina matter? Any 2 star mount has basically infinite stamina.

You want a high EP ground mount for combat... speed isn't going to be as effective as having more energy.. allowing you to do more than chug energy potions every 2 minutes.

If you want travel speed.. flying mounts beat ground mounts into the ground in terms of traveling around the map.

I see, I guess that's true, I hadn't thought of combat. How much more stamina does Black Wind have compared to others?

Off the top of my head the EP bonus is like 14% or more which I think with my heroic set equates to a little over 2800? I'd have to log on to double check though. Makes farming/dungeons pretty easy without having to worry about energy, and you can literally just kite everything to death once you get explosive shot.

Actually, I just checked the wiki. Pluto and Black Wind have the same stamina (870 base, and same skill), but Black Wind is faster (7.00) than Pluto (6.60). I guess Black Wind is #1 then, unless someone knows something better?

Fastest ground mount though I believe is the heroic Garme, but I don't remember his base speed before buffs.
