Priest Healing while Mounted question

Although we have a variety of different options for healing under "mount" skills. It seems healing glow is the only one that actually works. Righteous Authority and the other DoT/HoT always come up as invalid target while targeting other mounted targets when flying. On ground mounts its like a 50/50 chance i can put up the HoT's.

Is this working as intended? Am i doing something wrong?

all i can think of is that you're targeting the mounts instead of the players, since, you can still technically target the mounts.

the problem is only in action mode, if you switch to standard mode it works like it should.
Since i play in action mode, i cant use the skill on myself, thats a bid dumb...

And yes i know this thread is old, but this topic is still needed to be resolved

If you want to use the Heal Over Time spells on party members or your self you have to have your lance out. It took me a little bit to figure this out. It's pretty lame. Ctrl+Z is the binding to switch weapons (you can Rebind it to something easier). or you can swing with the lance to get it out, but that will sometimes target an enemy and you will have to re target your self or friend. Healing won't work on your self or party member if crossbow is out. It will just say invalid target or go to a mob if there are any nearby.

That happened to me a while back as well. But it just seemed to fix itself. I don't click on the person anymore, i click the name in party and it works. Don't know why it started working but I have no problem now.
