This game caught my eye but i saw some "This game has gone pay to win" reviews in the most helpful category and want to know the weigth of those. So... is it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or should I keep my credit card up when playing this game?

Not at all.

Plus the fact that PvP is fairly rare anyway.

Give yourself the opportunity, play till lvl 10. Make a call then.

Well Im only in my lvl 20s but so far I have been having allot of fun and haven't spent anything yet. Im probabaly going to buy the $10 pack but my philosophy is if I'm playing a free to play game and enjoying it I'll go ahead and drop the same amount of money a month that i would on a sub to play game, to support the developement. So $10-20 a month is my max . I would never play a game where you have to spend hundreds to keep up.

really depends on how you look at it... as pvp is non existent then the 'advantage' others have over you is very minimal even if pay to win... at end lvls it is hard to upgrade gear without spending money but again, it doesn't really impact anything.

Every game is pay to win to a degree but this one doesn't matter anyway as there is no advantage over others by spending real money
its pay2play ofc first everybody buy premium then ellun to up stuff etc cash or real hardcore grinding that is ROI

Kids tend to throw around the term "P2W", but the only money I've ever spent on this game was on cosmetics and fancy mounts in the market. I've never paid for better stats and the premium currency isn't even premium, considering they give out pots of 30-100 elluns as daily rewards.

Give it a shot! Form your own opinions. Steam reviews barely matter if you find the game enjoyable.

Its just the you like it or not, If you dislike "FPS" shooter game, no matter how good the game been made you wont show any interest in it..
You need give a shot on the game ans see you like the style or not.
You can use +10 items within the PVE games without spending any monies or exchange market, yes if you are serious into the game like us and group of my friends, we already spend those monies to imbue the our items to +20 cause we also love to play PVP as well..
But stronger you dont need +20 item to get the game going, unless you wanna do pvp or if you got that extra monies to bring your character into better item levels..

This question is a "Depends" answer.

The problem is temper stones. They were at one time, buyable on the market, which is a P2W aspect.

If these stones can still be bought with money, its still P2W. If they cannot be bought anymore, than its no longer P2W.

When I quit, they had just released the PvP zone, and released 120 stones on the market. Those stones, were ONLY able to be bought.

Those stone is how they generate cash for the game to survive, the developer know that but what they can do about it if its going to make the game dying..
Did you see why "playunknow battleground" can hit 24/7 800k-million players playing it, cause players are actually enjoying and happily playing the game and not the game itself play the players..
You need population and not just a bunch of 500-1k players gathing around the community, p2w item can generate cash but how long you can make that cash on a low base population?

I dont think F2P mmo can get any better if they keep doing the same pattern, i dont understand why they dont push B2P contents..

Even Diablo 3 can survive that long and where the p2w or cash shop market?

Diablo 3 is a horrible comparison.

1) Diablo isnt an MMO
2) Diablo is a dungeon crawler
3) Diablo isnt F2P

Hearthstone would have been a better example, but still not a good one, because its entirely different genres.

As for if they can get better? Make everything RNG based (shut up crybabies) and dont sell anything that gives an advantage over another player. See, wasnt that simple?

What? If the grind at the end to get good, upgraded gear is too hard without spending real money that is the VERY definition of pay to win and is indeed impactful on the game. It says the devs made it difficult to encourage the use of real money to get an advantage and get ahead. That. Is. Pay. To. Win.

Yes or No. Do they still have temper stones in the market you can only get with real currency?

When I played, Level 120 Temper Stones, were not obtainable outside the market.

Way to avoid the question to suite your arguement.

Yes or No. Are there temper stones on the market, that you cannot get in game.
SupaStompa Sep 6, 2017 @ 10:55pm
No. My answer was pretty damn clear it wasnt to avoid anything. :)
