Discord and Icarus

I know people have mentioned discord not working before and solutions have been provided, but I'm starting a new post because my issue is different. YES I run discord as an administrator and it still randomly mutes me in game for no reason and I have NO idea how to get it to work. I've tried changing settings, restarting my computer, running discord as admin first, then icarus, and vice versa. So for the past couple weeks I've been literally stuck tabbing out and disconnecting from channel, then reconnecting every time I want to speak because it cancels me in discord. PLEASE tell me someone knows how to fix this??? (feel free to add me on steam or reply here with an answer)

I don't think this is a Riders problem?
have you tried to look into discord foruns or something like that to see if it's a discord problem?
I also use discord and luckyly never had a problem with it..

Riders of Icarus is the ONLY game I've ever had this issue with and I've used discord with 20+ other games. And I looked at that link, I use push to talk and no one else in our discord who plays riders of icarus has this issue, so the server is not muting me. I speak at least every 5 or less minutes.

I'm sorry, I don't know what might e wrong too..
I used to use push to talk, recently changed tovoice detection for convenience and I only use discord in Riders of Icarus, yet never had this issue..
I hope you figure out what's wrong soon :)

Eh, I can't really use voice detection because I have background noise which would be annoying for other players, and wouldn't really care to have people overhear conversations that might come up in RL while I'm playing.

but you can regulate in discord so it won't catch other noises..
