What is a JACKPAD??
So it doesn't matter which kind of smartphone you have? You don't need to download an app? I say this because I'm in the 1% of the world that happens to own a Windows Phone so was just wondering :).

Jackpad was an iPhone app from a few years ago where players could play YDKJ on an iPad and use their iPhones as controllers, but I believe it was discontinued when YDKJ on the iPad was discontinued.

Yes, you can go to Jackbox.tv on any phone that has a web browser. If you want to try that out right now for free, just load that page and join a game on Twitch. This game isn't out yet as of this writing, but you can try it with the Jackbox Party Pack 2:

Jackbox Games,

Steam now allows for a more specific game features list. A game can now have "Local Multi-Player" listed as one of it's features instead of just "Multi-Player". Please fix this and change it to "Local Multi-Player" since this game is same-room multiplayer only. Listing one of the features as "Multi-Player" implies that there is online multi-player. The same-room multiplayer indication should probably be written on the Steam store page itself as well, to avoid confusion. You can also mention Twitch streams on the store page itself.

Windows Phones will work!
A quick question if I understand it correctly. To play this game multiplayer, only one player (me, the host) needs to buy the game? Other players can connect via link or play locally with me? I'd liek to play this with my friends but I'm not sure if we all need to buy a copy for ourselves or just one of us?

Thank you! One more question. The game is currently on sale on Chrono gg for just 7.50$, cheaper than on Steam. Is that version limited or something to explain the bigger discount on a new game? 0_o

I have never heard of Chrono GG, but since it says it includes a Steam key, the game will be identical to buying it from Steam.
How does the audience feature work? I'm trying to figure out how to spectate and become an audience member for a game and just like responses

You play along and choose what you think the actual prompt is and can award likes. Audience members can effect the outcome of the game!
