Solution for PhysX problem

On the Nvidia site there is a Legacy PhysX driver install that will fix this problem.
It will not affect your new versions of PhysX, its only purpose is to fix older game issues like this.

Thx mate "driver version 9.12.0613" worked on my Nvidia 670 (9.12.1031 didn't got error with PhysX 2.4.4 not found /facepalm )

I don't run Nvidia hardware, so why is it asking me to install physx? Is this still a valid fix?

Physx is a physic engine. It will use an compatible Nvidia graphic card if you have one, if you don't it will use the CPU. So yes, you will need to install it.

Thank you Tealus. From just looking at the internet, it would have seemed that having to load PhysX would have been moot for a Radeon-based system user.

the installer automatically cancels installation if you have a newer version already installed (why surprised me, since I'm running Radeon card!). Luckily, the Legacy installer does NOT cancel out if you have a newer version.

hey guys im still having a problem running this game, i have the 9.13 installed on my desktop comp, do i need to roll back the driver to 9.12, if so how?
i get this error on my desktop (gtx 650ti graphix), but it runs fine on my laptop but on low settings 8200m graphix both are win 7 32....

9.13 is too new...it's supposed to be a 9.12 driver - either 9.12.0613 or legacy (which is 9.12.1031). The 0613 driver seems more compatible to me (more compatible in terms of older games in general).
