Steam Deck incompatibility warning for buyers

I have both the Steam and GOG versions of this game and currently both do not function at all despite trying simple and advanced methods; the furthest I've gotten is the setup screen on the GOG version, which on the Steam version just immediately crashes. The game itself will not run regardless of version you try.

To anyone wondering, whoever said it worked on protondb was spreading misinformation - as of this post there is currently no way to get this game to run properly on Steam Deck or Linux with any version of Proton or of the game(s) itself.

UPDATE: The GOG version of the game is now fully functional on Steam Deck with GE Proton 9-13.
