👻 Ghost VS — VS Live never dead-ends
No live opponent within 10 seconds? You'll now face a ghost — a replay of a real player's actual run (their real speed, combos, and pacing), not a generic bot.
Ghost matches award half ELO.
Even at launch or in quiet hours, there's always a match waiting.
⚔ Live VS Invites (new)
Hit Find Match and players sitting in the menus get a small, dismissible invite to fight you — more real matches, far less waiting.
Each invite shows the challenger's ELO and rank with a ▲ Higher / ≈ Even / ▼ Lower tag, so you read the matchup at a glance.
These are full-ELO matches — it's a real person.
Invites can also appear during single-player modes (never during an active match), and there's an on/off switch in Options → Live invites.
Desktop: press Tab to accept without reaching for the mouse.
🎯 Smarter matchmaking
Search now widens the longer you wait — it starts at your rank and expands outward until it finds someone, so very high or low ranks no longer get stuck.
The VS screen shows a live "● online · looking" counter.
🛠 Fixes & polish
Fixed a typing bug where a dash — or certain external/Bluetooth keyboards — could score a correct key as a typo and quietly drain your HP. Typographic dashes and smart quotes are now accepted.
The in-game feedback form now actually sends, and offers a one-tap Rate button.
Fixed the VS search timer bar, and hardened matchmaking so two players can never grab the same opponent.
