Element (?) Icons

Alright, so clearly I can't look this up online without getting spoiled to balls. And I see no mention of it in game at all (or yet?), but when you look at your characters in the menu they seem to have a kind of element icon next to their name. What are all the different icons, and what do they affect?

Their meanings aren't mentioned in game, but they approximate to a kanji character representing an element so to Japanese audiences they didn't need explanation.

x (無) - None
天 - Heaven/Sky (Light)
時 - Time
火 - Fire
氷 - Ice
冥 - Dark (Shadow)
全 - All/Complete (?) - This replaces Endir's after a sidequest with no fanfare and seemingly no impact on gameplay
