ramps and platforms, what am i missing?

OK, so i put a medium platform down, and a medium ramp on top. then i put some medium supports on an adjacent platform. the ramp only goes halfway up the supports, and i cant join a platform halfway up the supports, so how does one build a 2 stage ramp from ground level to the top of a medium supports set?

Hi AJ, all the support sections are the same height. A Large ramp of course would reach the top of any support. If you want to use only Medium ramps because of their narrow width, you can stack 2 or three small platforms to build the higher Med ramp. You may also like the look of stacked Small Ramps to form support columns.

Do you have to lay the ramps first and build up to the platforms or can you build the platforms first and lead the ramps down from the edge? I can't seem to do the latter.

You know, that you can change position with Shift + Mousewheel? You have to choose the axis and then you can lower the support into the ground, so you can get to the needed height for your ramp.

i tried this, didnt appear to work. i saw the point of origin moving along the axis, but not the object itself

you also need to click on the "place"
