How can I find rebel hq fast.

I have Seswanna only and trying to get a nearby system near the main system I hope I can get it under my control so I can make enough troops to get the 2 main rebel systems then crush the last 3 systems.

No idea, unless youre lucky with a scouting ship or probe droid its a long slog. Same with capturing Luke and Mon Mothma.

Send out lots of probe droids all over the place. You don't need to put them on a ship or anything like that. That's a waste of time and a waste of precious fleet resources, which are needed on immediate offensive operations against the rebels. Just build lots of droids and send them out on missions the moment they get built.

finding the base and being in position to do anything about it are 2 different things. Though just spamming out probe droids will hit eventually, I prefer to build a small fleet of 2-3 vsds, a handful of lancers, eventually a dictor, and enough troop transport to raid any non hq bases, load that up with an admiral, general, and enough probes to probe out each planet in a system. I jump to a central point in a system, send out the droids and let them do their work. Any opposition, the fleet is right there to jump to the destination.

Dumb Ass robots suck. Carrack Light Cruisers. 4 of them should make short work of that. The Imperial Shuttle is the fastest ship in the game, but the light cruiser is not far behind

make about 50 probe droids and send them out. Cheap, easy, quick. Then the rebel base will move... but that's life.

You can get lucky after a successful espionage mission in a core planets. If a construction yard is active it might have a destination in a random outer rim planet. If it's early game, it's very likely the HQ.
