How to run fullscreen without problems
Start the game using dxwnd. Just google it. Once you get it working you'll have no problems and can run the game in fullscreen. Just set dxwnd to use directx 7. (The 3d battles will flash an error message, but will still work)

Just about all older games that uses earlier directx versions will work using dxwnd. Steam should talk to those guys and make a deal like they did with dosbox. But maybe it's a tad more difficult...?

First screen, settings.

Fullscreen only

Position (keep aspect ratio, w(your screen width), h(your screen hight), Desktop center.

I know this was made a year ago but I want to help others who have this problem.

(works on my windows 7 computer. I think it will work on others)
Go to the game folder [Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Star Wars - Rebellion]
Right click REBEXE.EXE and press "create shortcut."
Move that shortcut to your desktop (or wherever you keep your games).
click on it and enjoy.

Hey, this is kind of a shot in the dark but maybe you guys can help; I'll also be making my own help thread probably. I have the opposite problem of you guys. I'm on Windows 10 and I want to run the game in a window so I can switch between it and a word document on the fly (boring easy class and I need a game that I can drop and come back to at will) and running the regular launch commands for windowing steam games hasn't helped. Any ideas?

I tested it and it works (for windows 7 at least).

This was the meathod I would use to get window mode (that or launching it through steam) but I prefer to play on fullscreen mode.
