Windows 11 issues
Anyone able to get this to run on win11 without a hitch? Whenever I try it’s always a tiny screen on the top left of the screen while on my win10 install it runs perfect.

Thanks!

It runs fine on my Win 11. Maybe try alt+enter? That will switch between windowed & fullscreen, which sometimes helps with issues like you described.

Have looked around the internet and nothing, guess its abandon ware on windows 11 now, such a shame as it runs perfect on 10

When I ran it directly from steam, it worked great, when I run it from my file folder I get the little screen. I'm running windows 11, the compatibility in properties is set for Vista

Having similar issues. If I run through steam, I get a tiny window. If I run in any compatibility mode, I can get full screen, but some of the imaged are reversed/flipped and some are the wrong color (reds change to blue).

Super strange.

I have given up now on trying to get this work on windows 11 now and is the only thing really stopping me from going to win11 (not being able to play this one game is a deal breaker lol.

I have tried this version, the gog version and an old cracked version I have ripped from the og CD I used to own and still can't get this work fullscreen.

If someone finds this thread in the future and know a fix for this then please let us know.

Can you still play it at fullscreen on windows 11?

I know this thread is going on 4 months old but I wanted to share my solution as I had the same problem. My trusty Windows 7 computer died (yeah, I know it's old) and I got a Windows 11 Lenovo with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 (GeForce Experience installed) with an LG 27MP60G monitor. I had the same problem and the above fix didn't quite work for me but did put me on the right track that let me fix it. I normally run at 1080p but the old Windows 95 VGA game doesn't change the resolution on the monitor so runs in 640x480 while the monitor stays at 1080p, hence the small size. The 640x480 resolution wasn't an option in display settings so I'm guessing that's why it didn't change it to that full screen resolution.

The fix for me:
- In the Nvidia control panel:
- Display -> Change resolution
- Under "Choose the resolution" select Customize…
- Click Enable resolutions not supported by the display (the resolutions was initially blank for me)
- Click "Create Custom Resolution..."
- Type 640 (horizontal) x 480 (vertical) then test and add it

It then showed up in the custom resolutions. Hit okay, close out and launch the game. I hope this helps others who might be searching for a solution.

Wow!

Thanks for chiming in on this!

I will dig the laptop out and give this a try and let you know how it goes.
