Strange error and crash

I'm getting this error when trying to play the game, but I don't know what it says because it's in Japanese. It usually pops up around when the CriWare logo appears, and when I press a on the controller or enter on the keyboard, the game closes immediately. Any idea what's causing it and how I can fix it?

I tried verifying the file integrity and it had to redownload 108 files, but I'm still getting the error after doing that.

played game for hours yesterday. today i get the same as everyone here. tried reinstalliong twice with no success.the config must be somewhere that we can remove to fix this.

anybody resolve this? i dont get this error when i use steam to launch the game, but when i try to launch it directly from the games exe i get it.

Hey. Check your steamapps folder. For some reason the game was in a folder named ¨FLUID¨. Re-naming it "Pacman Championship Edition 2" fixed the problem for me.

kinda late but didnt work for me. It forces me to reinstall the game and places it in a "FLUID" folder
