Is there a way to turn the tutorial off?

Hey gang, I'm not great at this game but I enjoy it a lot. I have not completed story mode yet and I've had probably about 6 or 7 different saves now because I keep losing. All of this is fine, I'm having a lot of fun! I'm familiar with the controls now and at this point the tutorial is pretty much just x's for me to get rid of. Does anyone know if there is a way to turn it off?

I used to make new saves a lot before I found out that you can restart after losing on the same save with unlocked genetics.

I didn't see any setting for turning off tutorial, would be cool if it was a thing. But at least the tutorial isn't restricting gameplay, it is just some pop up messages.

What with lacking a real goal in-game, I just try to get all genes as fast as possible. So of course I do a fresh start every time. :)

Not played in a while, because beating my own record will sooner or later be impossible; there are limits to how fast you can get all genes, simply because for some genes you have to hang out somewhere for x turns. (Never mind random luck with ancient genes.)

I vaguely remember there was some tutorial message that is better followed, or else it gets stuck somewhere. Hm... Been too long. :)

The tutorial can quite easily just be ignored imo, not doing it doesn't have any negative effects after all

I also just close the tutorial notifications and skip the whole tutorial by quickly moving to the next island after recruiting Eve.

The reason i quit playing was because i wanted to finish the main questline but was so sick of playing the first two islands the exact way prescribed before being on my onw.
