Antenna
Is there any purpose for it yet? Or is it just for looks?

You can predict the weather with them! :D

Ive never really seen anything actually happen with them though, i have had them plenty within my tribes

I believe you have to hover over the antenna gene in a creature's geneology tab to see next day's weather? I forgot- you'll have to experiment around with it, I guess. :P

Hm, I'll try playing with it and see what happens!

edit; seems to have no real in game effect..

Oh. Well, be sure to keep it in your Nichelings' genetics, for when the weather prediction system is added in likely the next update!

(If you lose it then later when it becomes useful you'll have to introduce rogue's genetics, and getting rid of blindness and such is never fun...)

You need to go to the first tab where it tells you the creatures overall stats and hover over the weather prediction icon, and it will tell you what the weather will be like in a certain amount of days.

You find anntenna in the wilderness, randomly. You'll unlock the gene if you invite a creature with the trait into your tribe.

Nothing shows except +1 weather prediction, i have it unlocked and many nichelings have it naturally. I have looked at the tab, tree and doesnt ever say anything-I'll look again but i doubt its implemented

It is implemented, when you go to the general genetics tab, where the stats of a Nicheling are listed, the last one is a cloud and when you hover over that it should say something like "hot and sunny in 1 days" or "rainy in 2 days"

Yep, and it's been active for a few months now. Not the most useful unless you plan around weather, but I digress.

Although it is useful for when you're in a tight spot with food. It could save you from a somewhat rash decision, most of which would lead to a tribe's downfall.

Yeah, especially when you play in harder places like the burning savannah or the swamp where rain is actually affecting stuff

If you hover over the antenna's gene in your Nicheling's genetics it says 'weather perdiction.' And in your skills tab there is a spot for 'weather prediction' and I believe its a picture of a cloud with lightning(?) Now when you hover over this one it will tell you the next day it will rain. For example,

In (4 days) the weather will be: +rain

^^^^ I belive thats how it will appear so its good for the day before it rains to position your Nichling's next to those berry bushes! Personally i like to use my Nichling's with antenna's as Shaman whom are ones who have a spiritual connection to the land around them :D
