Prickly plants?

Has anyone figured out how to get fruit from the prickly plant without causing damage? I have a save game with a ton of them but barely any other plants which is making it slightly difficult to manage the resources.

Unfortunately, no idea but I'd love to know the answer to this too!

Currently there is no way to get any berries from thorned plants without damage hopefully they will add a gene at some point that can help with it.

Although it is annoying to take damage from them I’ve noticed that some deserts have a ton of them in a small space. This works out great if you have two berry picking paws. Add in some horns and a group of nests and you will have a great way to quickly spread out.
