Whale Island

I was on the Deadly HIlls killer island - with the killer Bearyena. I left on the ports to the right (which should have lead to another killer island) and ended up on Whale Island??????

How in the?

Whale island seems to pop up whereever it likes,I find it most often around the killer islands as well. Not sure if that is a bug. I always explain it with the whale just swimming around, therefore not really sticking to the medium island set but it's on back difficulty is still medium :)

Because I am now on Whale Island, will I need to travel through all the levels of the islands to get back to the killer islands? I was hoping to unlock all of the prehistoric genes.

No you dont really. The unique thing with whale island is that the travel port on the other side allows you to travel to any island of your choice, as long as youve been on the same difficulty island once before. Since you stated youve been on a killer before, you can go onto another killer islant of any choice now! Even the Snowy one to get some ancient genes
