Luck Challenge
This challenge is simple in theory and a mixture of fun and crazy in practice (I've tried it already before I even thought to suggest it here) Here's how it goes:

Use a random number generator (I used Google) to determine these factors for your Nichelings:
1. Island Level Of Difficulty (When you first start the new game)

2. Which Island in that difficulty (When you first start the new game)

3. Which Island Port to go to (During the game)

4. Rank (Beta, Alpha, or Omega)

5. Gem color

6. Genes in their mutation menu

7. Whether or not to invite wild Nichelings into your tribe (And if the answer is 'no', generate a number to determine whether or not to attack that wild Nicheling)

8. Whether or not to tame Baby Bearyenas (same as above)

9. Whether or not they will mate with other Nichelings (Or Friendly Bearyenas) you choose (Example: I want to mate Anasi with Takir, so I check the random number generator, and it says no, so I don't get to mate them that day)

10. Whether or not your pregnant females will give birth (Example: Anasi becomes pregnant with Takir's baby. I check the random number generator, it says no, so I have to wait until the next day to check the generator again, and if it says no again, I keep repeating the process until I get a yes.) NOTE: If it is the female's final day of life, they have to have their baby if a nest is available or can be made

Mechanics of the Challenge:

In your random number generator, place the minimum number as 1 and the maximum number as 100.

For when you are getting ready to start the game, go to the Sandbox Mode and you will see four difficulty options: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Killer. Numbers 1 through 25 are "Easy", numbers 26 through 50 are "Medium", numbers 51 through 75 are "Hard" and numbers 76 through 100 are "Killer". The same applies to the islands that are four each, such as the ones under Easy and Killer; just go down the list.

For the islands under Medium and Hard, I'll use Medium's islands as an example: numbers 1 through 16 are "Burning Savanah", numbers 17 through 32 are "Rainforest", numbers 33 through 48 are "First Snow", numbers 49 through 64 are "Overgrown Jungle", numbers 65 through 80 are "Swampy Hill", numbers 81 through 96 are "Grass Mingle" and numbers 97 through 100 give you your choice of where you start the game.

For "yes or no" questions, such as "Does Anasi want to destroy her own nest", numbers 1 through 50 are "yes" and numbers 51 through 100 are "no".

For deciding your Nicheling's rank, numbers 1 through 33 are "Beta", numbers 34 through 66 are "Alpha" and numbers 67 through 99 are "Omega". If you get number 100, you get to choose the Nicheling's rank yourself.

For deciding your Nicheling's gem colors, numbers 1 through 20 are "Green", numbers 21 through 40 are "Orange", numbers 41 through 60 are "Blue", numbers 61 through 80 are "Pink", and numbers 81 through 100 are "Yellow".

For deciding what genes will be in your Nicheling's mutation menu, here's what genes are assigned to what numbers:

96 through 100: Your Choice!

If your randomly generated number is on a gene that you have not unlocked, randomly generate numbers until you get an answer that is a gene you can select. For example, if I get the number 3 but don't have Bearyena Ears unlocked, I must randomly generate numbers until I get a gene I can use, such as Medium Ears.

I believe the idea is to up the difficulty by subtracting your ability to make your own choices .
The random aspect can make your tribe very small if you keep rolling no for no babies . Or it could make it harder to survive if you can't mutate for genetics that you need .

MultipleDinosaurs is correct; the point is to make the game more difficult. The random aspect is also fun because of how crazy things can get, if you happen to be a fan of creating your own lore.

I'm going to play this challenge but i'm not going to roll for gem color every time as i feel this would be kind of tedious, so i'm just going to roll for each pairing and then their children will get a mix of those gems. and any nichelings invited to the tribe will also get one roll.

Is this alright with you?
