Adam's Home Island
I have searched far and wide for the fabled, "Adam's home island". I have found NOTHING. Port? How far?

Kiellie just made a post on how to find it, maybe this helps :)

I know how!

For Story Mode, what I did was travel as far as possible in one direction, aim for more difficult islands, and eventually you will find an island with a 'lock' of some sort on one port. Say, for a jungle you have to break all the roots, which are spread hidden all over the island, to get rid of the giant plants on the port. Or for a snowy mountain you have to wait out winter until summer melts the giant ice blocks on the ports.

Travel through this port, and you will arrive on an island called 'Crossing'. Two ports will be covered with killer bones, and one will be a strange, mellow color. Not green of the grasslands, but not sandy like the oasis or savanah. Take that port, and BOOM! Home island!

You can get there through Sandbox, but you can only get to Crossing and then to Adam's Island.

If you're going to do this through Story Mode, which I recommend, be sure to KEEP HOME IMMUNITY!!! If you don't, you can't interact with the inhabitants, only attack them. If you keep Home Immunity, you can invite them to join your tribe.

Hope this helped :3

The lock port islands are definitely the key (pun not intended) to finding Home Island! The Jungle island with roots blocking the port will be your first sign, as that unlocks the harder islands for you. The long winter Mountain island is your second sign, as if you survive it, you'll unlock Crossing Island. Just go north from there and you hit Home Island.

If you can't find one of the islands even if you keep going north (you want to go north for harder islands, and right if there's no north port in order to stay on the same difficulty level of island), try going left and down a difficulty level then go north again when you can - there's a bug that sometimes pops up where you end up cycling through jungle and swamp biomes endlessly without getting anywhere.

Wait, are you joking? Which way is N?

North is up! So when you arrive on a new island, without spinning the map, see if there is a travel port up (ie North) that's the one that will lead to harder islands as explained above

And if you're already on an island aren't sure which way is up, look for the travel port where you arrived and from there on look "up"
