Can a 12 yrs old play this game or is it too complicated?

I think that depends on the twelve year old...though, for the general twelve year old, I think yeah, it might just be a little too complicated.

Complicated doesn't mean unfun, I had a blast as a kid playing very similar games.

I think it should be fine for a 12 year old to play. The game also has a little tutorial just incase

I played this at the age of 10 (the trial one and now i'm 13) and I didn't find it complicated at all so It's be ok for a 12 year old

I am a twelve year old and my mom has more confusion in this game then me, but I am a pretty smart twelve year old. I don't think any of my friends could play this, but it is possible.

Definitely! I think this game is good for kids 10+, as long as they had an interest in strategy games of any kind.

edit: sorry about that guys. I was thinking this was in the stardew valley forums but um, yes, Niche is fine for a kids' game, for a 12 year old i mean. but beware that kids may get attached to their creatures and cry when their creatures die. lol. but it's a fun way to learn a bit about genes and biology. Even if the niche creatures aren't real creatures.

I agree with everyone one here but maybe look in to opting out of the last update if you ask any one here they can tell you how . the last update made in a little confusing. but otherwise yes god for a 12 year old I should know I was 12 when I bought it and had a blast

Thanks for the opinions! I'll keep an eye on It and see if she'll like It or not. Nevertheless, It seems like a nice game.
