Niche is in Early Access. Bugs and crashes might occur and we we hope to fix them as fast as possible.

Please check if your computer fulfills our minimal system requirements. You need at least:
- 1GB free disk space
- 4GB of memory
- a 2GHz dual core processor
- a nVidia 8800 GT / AMD 4670 or faster graphics

If you are not familiar with system requirements, feel free to send us an email including the information above.
You can find this information by clicking Help / System Information in your Steam client.

Also:
- Make sure your Graphics Card Drivers are updated
- Make sure you have the most recent version of DirectX installed (Windows only)

If your computer does not fulfill these requirements and the game does not run even though you updated your graphics card driver and downloaded the most recent version of DirectX (Windows only):
Please get a refund on Steam. You can do this until two weeks after buying the game: http://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds/

If your computer fulfills all the above requirements, your graphics card driver is up to date, the most recent version of DirectX is installed (Windows only) and the game still does not run:
Please send us an email which includes your system specification. (You can find it by clicking Help / System Information in your Steam client.)
There is also a log file which could help us greatly to find the cause of the problem if you attach it to your email. You can find it at the following locations:

- Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Niche\Windows\Niche_Data\output_log.txt
- Mac: ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log
- Linux: ~/.config/unity3d/Team Niche/Niche _ a genetics survival game/Player.log

i am trying to find were to report a problem wil i play niche version 1.1.4 the game crash we i play it say the crash report folder name is 2019-02-04 162318 and a nother on 2019-02-05 135026 can someone help please

I know this is an old post, but anyone in 2019? My game doesn't even get to the main menu before crashing, and I checked all of this! Help!

Hello. Here is how to get to the folder of your crash report when the screen crashes to a blank screen and there is an error report notification on another tab:-

So you have a blank screen. You tab out. There are two tabs for Niche. One of them is an error report. You can tell when you hover over, but if you click the error tab, it just goes back to the blank screen and you cannot find the error report.

Click the error tab. It stays on the blank Niche window. Ignore that. Hover over the error tab so that windows shows it to you, just like you did to read that there was an error folder in the first place. Above the task bar, Windows will show you two thumbnails of each Niche tab. Hover over the error report thumbnail. It appears. Don't click it. Just press space or enter while the error report is visible in the middle of the screen, and that will press the "yes" button to bring you to the hidden folder containing the crash report.

I've nothing to do with Niche. I'm just looking to report a crash myself. So I don't know if anybody is going to answer. I guess not. But now you know how to get to the crash the report anyway.
