Rest game progress?
Hi, my son's trying to play this game on his own Steam account - same PC - but all of my weapons and upgrades are unlocked for him already, which is a real downer. Is there a way to reset all progress, or at least lock progress to individual Steam accounts?

I've never seen a game use some kind of global save like this that affects completely separate steam accounts. It's very odd.

We'll look at the global save issue, you should definitely have different saves for different Steam accounts. Multiple saves is something we would like to add, but that will take longer. Reset progress, or deleting save games, is something we should be able to add soon, shouldn't be too hard.

Thanks for the quick answer. I'm good in the meantime ;)

Really enjoying the game, btw - more and more as I play which is a sign of solid design work. Expect one more positive review shortly.

I'd also like to reset progress. Its fun tossing newbs into campaign mode, but less so when they can start with machineguns and laser sights.

Was there ever any progress on resetting progress?

Not yet, it's still on our task list.

Hey, it's getting close to a year now since this was asked and it looks like you guys aren't really serious about a reset option. Cool. Could you at least tell us how we could do it on our own? I've tried uninstalling and killing the BrookhavenGame section in AppData local, but that doesn't seem to do it. I'm sure you could tell us quickly where and what to delete to do this, so let's just do that and everyone is somewhat happy, yes?

I agree, I would like to be able to sort of restart the game with fresh people not being loaded up with all the supplies. Could we get a clue as to what files to remove and where they are?

If anyone is still looking to reset their game progress, heres how I did it:

Run steamVR tool / VR readyroom
Uninstall Brookhaven
Delete Brookhaven folder in steam/commonapps/
Delete save in C:/Users/%username%/appdata/local/brookhaven* (2 brookhaven folders, delete them both)
Reinstall Brookhaven from your monitor, steamVR should still be running and tracking your headset at this point.

gz, your save is now gone.

Note: the /appdata/ folder may be a hidden folder, depending on your system settings.
