I have an 970 with fps drops and am waiting for my 1080. But still only 45 fps with that card? Still undecided about preorder. Can anyone else with a 1070/1080 card give a statement here?

I too am getting fps drop causing stuttering

i7 6900 OC'ed to 4.2 GHz with Hyper Threading on
32 GB of RAM
980 GTX
Windows 10 64 bit Home

I tried changing the processor priority for the game, but it made no difference. Currently with the stuttering I'm seeing, I can't play the game :( Any suggestions to help resolve this would be appreciated. I'm fairly certain it isn't an issue with my PC being too weak to support the FPS needed for the game.

Where are you able to see the FPS in the game? Maybe I need to jump back in and see what I get, I'm running 6700k CPU with 1080, didn't notice any issues playing earlier.

The game is very demanding or not well optimized i can only run SS at 1.4 - 1.5 with reprojection turned off and maintain 90 fps on a OC 1080. Seen many post of people barely mainting 90 fps with lesser cards even runing SS at 1.0 so might be a optmization issue.

OP what SS settings are u running? if SS is 1.4 - 1.5 or below you should definitely not be getting 45 fps on youre 1080, and if ure using SS 1.0 then your card should maintain 90 fps with out braking a sweat.

Have you changed your default supersampling? If so, back it down to 1.4 or so - anything higher than 1.5 for me in Brookhaven drops the FPS too much with 1080 OC and a 4790K at 4.4

How do you do that?

getting max gpu usage and missed frames on my overclocked i5 @ 4.2 @ GTX 970 aswell.

I had low fps at first (had just disabled reprojection when trying the new pool nation beta to see if 90+ fps would fix the stutter(missed frames) there, and no it didn't) when trying the first campaign level and survival at storm drain, the other survival maps works fine.

After reenabling reprojection it was playable again.

I don't like playing at 45 fps though, but it works way better than with reprojection disabled.
My current specs:
i5 3570k OC'ed to 4.2ghz
MSI GTX 970 gaming OC edition, OC'ed to around 1500mhz
16gb ddr3 ram
(*I want to upgrade everything once GTX 1080Ti comes out)

Did you guys disable reprojection? No missed frames with that on?
But not being able to run it on a GTX 1080 with stable 90 fps is disappointing indeed.

GTX980 here, works fine... :X
It's running well with my GTX1080 so far, No frame issues.
GTX 980 OCed to 1404GHz. Getting poor perforamnce in the first level. The game is only playable with reprojection on. While I want to support this game, if they don't patch up whats killing all our frames, I'm returning it. I've noticed the game isn't using more than 60% on my GPU which is the frustraiting part. Poor frames and underutilized GPU. CPU is Intel 5930 OCed to 4600GHz. I do have SLI, but I made sure to set the profile to Single GPU with no effect. I even disable SLI entirely as that has worked with keeping HoverJunkers from crashing in the past.

Do you have Reprojection on? Turn it off and let us know if it run smooth.
leppermessiah Jul 6, 2016 @ 3:00pm
Reprojection is not a crutch for devs to release sub-optimized games, it's a temporary fail-safe for occasional frame drops to reduce VR sickness. The fact is that this game should not have been released if it can't achieve a consistent 90 FPS on 1070's and 1080's (or 970's and 980's for that matter).
